Our Vision

Our vision for mathematics is to promote the development of numerate, enquiring minds that employ curiosity, creativity and risk taking. We aim to ensure that pupils become fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics, develop conceptual understanding and an ability to recall and apply knowledge efficiently and accurately. Using these basic building blocks enables pupils to reason and problem solve logically. We hope children can experience a sense of awe and wonder as they develop their own solutions for the first time and make links between different areas of mathematics.
