Our Vision

Our vision for geography is that children understand the diversity of life in the world around them. Starting with their understanding of their immediate surroundings in school and their own local area, our geography curriculum ripples out, allowing pupils to draw comparisons with the wider world. We want children to think carefully and critically about places, their geographical features and the relationships between them and their inhabitants, in order to be prepared to take their place as responsible, respectful citizens in our ever-changing world.
